Armed with a concept of what we wanted, but without a detailed plan, we contacted a number of masonry contractors for ideas and proposals. In initial conversations, you made suggestions that sounded reasonable for the project. You sent us a photo of a similar project that, frankly, is far more attractive than those provided by other masons. While your proposed fee was higher than that of other contractors, your construction methods and commitment to quality seemed more aligned with our goals. Our target date for completion was ambitious, but you arranged your schedule to meet our requirements and got the job done on time.

We are delighted with the results. As we look at the pillars now, we appreciate the craftsmanship as stones were hand shaped, one by one, and assembled into a very satisfying whole.

We would like to applaud the excellent craftsmanship and dedication displayed by the company, ThreeFourFive Stone Masonry. We have had them do two jobs in the past year. The first one was a curved retaining wall in the center of our driveway. It was done with a dry-pack look and it is the main focal point when you come up the long driveway to our house. We planted a large decorative grass in the center with smaller decorative grasses all around it. We're extremely pleased with the outcome. The second job they did was to build a granite and bluestone staircase connecting the "shop" to our house. The stairs have four or five different size landings and retaining stones were placed strategically to give it a rustic feel and look. The stairs had to be placed in 25 feet of grade-height difference and the results were astonishing. The over-all feeling is of rustic, granite beauty and we couldn't be prouder of these masterpieces. We wouldn't even consider calling anyone else but ThreeFourFive Stone Masonry. We know they have the expertise and ability to do the job artistically and we would be proud to recommend them for everyone's next masonry job.

Recently ThreeFourFive Stone Masonry rebuilt our chimney from the roofline up. They did an outstanding job of matching the pattern and color of the existing brick. The estimate was comprehensive and well presented. The work was completed on time, very neatly cleaned up, and the finished job looks great.
